The health care workshop is a 1-hour interactive and engaging session on the Affordable Care Act: what has already been implemented and what is ahead of us between now and 2014. This workshop is aimed at people with limited to no background in healthcare policy, but is also a very useful update for health advocates. People will leave with a greater understanding of what the new law means for them and their loved ones, how they can benefit from it, and what they can do to improve health access in Texas.
